Westview Christian Church is a non-denominational fellowship of believers, free of any church headquarters or hierarchy, bound together by belief in the Bible as the word of God without error, and by a desire for the unity of all followers of Christ. Our rule of faith and practice is in the Word of God. Our plan for unity is to return to the New Testament pattern of Christianity. We seek to build the church as it was revealed in the scriptures with no human theologies or additions. We observe the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion and the weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper, (Acts 2:38-47)

• We teach that the Bible is the Word      of God, supernaturally inspired so that it is without error in the      original manuscripts and preserved by God, so that it is a divinely      authoritative standard for every age and every life, (I Cor.2:7-14; II      Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:16-17). We teach that the Godhead exists      eternally in three personalities: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but that these three are a unified God, (Matthew 28:19; John 14:16-26; 16:7-15).
• We teach that God is the absolute      and sole creator of the universe and that creation was by divine decree      and not by evolutionary processes, (Genesis 1:1-2:25).
• We teach that God, by His sovereign choice and out of love for mankind, sent Christ into the world to save sinners, (Gen.3:15; Isaiah 3:1-6;Matt.1:21; John 3:16; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 1:3-6). We teach that Jesus Christ, born in the flesh, was both God and man, that He was born of the virgin Mary and that He lived a sinless life, in which He taught and wrought mighty works, and wonders, and signs. He was crucified, dying as a sacrifice for our sins and was raised from the dead by God on the third day following his death. Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is head of the church and intercedes on behalf of all believers, and from whence he is coming again personally, bodily, and visibly to earth someday,      (Philip.2:5-8;Luke 1:26-35; Heb. 4:14-15; I Peter 2:21-24; I Cor. 15:3-5; Eph. 1:18-23; Acts 1:9-11; Rom. 8:31-38; I John 2:1-2; I Thess.413-18;John 14:1-6).
• We teach that in His death, the      Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin. Men are saved, justified, and sanctified on the simple and single grounds of the shed blood of Christ, (Heb. 9:11-14; 10:10-13; I Pet.3:18; Gal.3:13-14; I Cor. 6:9-11; Rom. 8:31-34).
• We teach that Salvation with its      forgiveness of sins, its’ imparting of a new nature and its’ hope of   eternal life is by the grace of God, (Eph. 2:1-10) and not by good      works. We teach that good deeds are done because of our salvation and not for salvation. 
• We teach that a true believer is      eternally secure, but that rebellious disobedience and sinfulness may      interrupt the joy of one’s fellowship with God, perhaps causing one to      fall away from God, and bring discipline from the heavenly Father, (John 10:27-30; Rom. 8:1,27-29; II Cor. 1:21-22; I John 5:11-13; James 5:19-20; II Peter 2:20-22; Heb. 6:4-6; 10:35-ff).
• We teach that all who receive Christ become joint-heirs with Christ. At death, their spirit will depart to be with Christ in conscious blessedness and joy in a heavenly      paradise, (Luke 16:19-31; I Cor.15-1-58; I John 3:1-2).

We teach that it is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity, (Eph.4:11-16; 5:15-21; I Pet. 2:1-3).

• We teach that the Holy Spirit is a person, is God and is in possession of all the divine attributes. He indwells all believers and seals all      believers at the moment of their conversion, (John 14:26; 16:8-11; Acts 2:38; Rom. 8:9, 16-17; Eph. 1:13-14; 5:18).
